At this appointment you will meet with the midwives, who will check your blood pressure and urine. Your midwife will talk through your birth plan and your pain relief options. They will also open the discussion on how to recognise the signs of labour. We suggest that you have a tour of the hospital at this point. Please note that it is not recommended to travel from this stage of pregnancy onwards.
